Afternoon: Open discussion between participants and the panel of experts on hot topics emerged during the meeting.
The workshop is especially aimed at students and young scientists. They will be able to listen to plenary lectures delivered by renowned scientists, present their own posters or short communications, and take advantage from informal discussions with world's prominent experts.
The official language of the Workshop is English.

Nové poznatky českých vědců přispěly k boji s alergiemi Po 15.8.2011
K dalším možnostem v boji s alergiemi a jinými nebezpečnými zánětlivými stavy přispěl výzkum badatelů z Ústavu molekulární genetiky AV ČR, jenž ukazuje na nové zásahové místo pro léčbu těchto onemocnění. Vědcům se podařilo prokázat, že aktivace tzv. žírných buněk vede k tvorbě doposud nepopsaných mikrotubulárních výběžků, a na molekulární úrovni objasnit, jak vznikají. Klíčovou roli mají výrazné změny ve vnitrobuněčné koncentraci vápenatých iontů.
Bezpečnost potravin a precizní zemědělství Po 11.7.2011
Hlavním zaměřením jednání je využití moderních informačních a komunikačních technologií pro bezpečnost potravin, udržitelný rozvoj a precizní zemědělství. Jedná se o největší akci tohoto druhu v roce 2011. Účastnit se bude 400 vědeckých pracovníků z 61 zemí.
